It is possible, though difficult, for a thrall to temporarily resist a blood bond.
Doing so requires the player to make a Willpower roll (difficulty is typically 10, though this can be modified depending on the regnant's treatment and the thrall's Nature) requiring a number of successes equal to the level of Blood Bond they are under up to a maximum of 3. The thrall must then spend a Willpower point.
Upon spending Willpower, the bond is negated for a single turn if in combat rounds or one minute outside of combat. During this time the thrall is fighting with every fiber of his being to keep a clear head from the influence of the bond and will be at +2 difficulty on all actions while making the effort to resist. The thrall can continue to make Willpower checks and expend Willpower to extend the duration of "freedom," but once she ceases doing so, the blood bond resumes at full force. Botching this roll will create an overwhelming guilt in the thrall who will be unable to attempt to resist the blood bond again for the next month.
All blood bonds must be registered with staff, if they are not and a call comes in regarding a blood bond that is not registered staff will rule on the side of no such blood bond existing.
Also note: The standard difficulty will be set at 10, if you feel it should be variable based on nature or treatment, please ask a staff member to ensure that we are aware of these factors and can confirm the shift in difficulty which will be noted in Grapevine for future reference.
